Pack manufacturing adds a second equipment layer on top of cell production: interconnection welding, mechanical assembly and electrical testing. This overview maps the three equipment families and links to the machines in our catalogue.
Welding Equipment
Interconnection quality starts with the power supply. Our AC/DC/transistor welding power supplies cover maximum currents from 1,500 A to over 10,000 A depending on configuration, with millisecond-level timing control (squeeze, upslope, weld, cool, downslope, hold) for consistent nugget formation on nickel and nickel-plated strips.
For manual and semi-automatic work, the high-precision heavy-duty gantry spot welder provides 1.0–20.0 ms adjustable weld time and 80.0–330 V welding voltage with 0.5 V accuracy. Automatic options scale from there: the single-side automatic spot welder for single-sided layouts, the double-side automatic spot welder for simultaneous two-sided welding, and the continuous-wave laser welding machine (1000–6000 W class) for busbar and tab joints where resistance welding reaches its limits. Protection-board work is covered by the multifunction spot welder for battery protection boards.
Assembly Equipment
Assembly machinery handles the steps between cell and pack: insulation stickers (double-side sticker machine, side-tape machine), film peeling (automatic film-peeling machine), sleeving (shrink-sleeve machine), polarity inspection (CCD polarity inspection machine) and grading (five-/ten-grade sorting machine, prismatic cell sorter). Complete configured lines — cylindrical, prismatic and polymer PACK production lines — combine these stations to order.
Testing Equipment
Electrical verification closes the loop. The 5 V capacity grading cabinet (10/20/30/60 A options) grades cell capacity; the charge/discharge aging cabinet runs extended cycling with selectable voltage, current and channel counts; the comprehensive finished pack tester verifies finished pack performance; and the automatic tester for 1–32S protection boards validates BMS function before pack integration.
Planning Note
Pack equipment is specified around your cell format, pack topology and throughput target. The configurations above are reference points — final line design follows your project requirements.
